Surface Preparation
  1. Holes & Cracks & Popped Nails & Rough
    • Patch them with filler and sand them down to smooth finish.
  2. Loose Paint
    • Scrape it away with a scraper and sand down the edges to smooth finish.
  3. Cleaning the Surface
    • Ensure surface is dry and free from grease and contaminants. If powderly, wash down with high pressure water jet cleaning.
    • Ensure surface is free from fungal growth, possible wash with fungicidal wash and flush clean after washing.

Cleaning Up
  • Don¬ít Let Paint Harden Your Brush
    When take a break in between painting, wrap your brush in cling wrap to stop it from drying out.
  • Clean All Your Tools Immediately
    After painting, clean brushes and rollers immediately. Use turpentine (for solvent base paint) or water to wash water base paint.
  • Disposing of Paints Safely
    Do not pour paint down the drain. Allow empty can to dry out first and place them in double-lined rubbish bags before disposing.


Safety Tips
  • Read the labels before use for precautions.
  • Wear a cap, gloves and suitable eye protection.
  • Keep paints away from children.
  • Store remaining paint in a cool, dry, ventilated place.
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Seek medical advice if pain persists.
  • On contact with skin, wipe immediately with a cloth and wash with plenty of water and soap.
  • Close lids of paint cans tightly after use. Unused paint must not be left uncovered.
  • Use a garbage bag for all paint or other items you wish to dispose of. Make sure it is placed in a bin which is secure properly disposed.
  • Make sure there is adequate ventilation when you are painting. Open doors and windows at all time. Do not inhale vapour.
